confused about fun options??

I read in a previous thread something that confused me about these fun options. It was my understanding that the fun options are in addition to the number of park days you have. IS this correct? We bought 7 day hopper tickets that are non expiring and have the fun option. Does this mean we actually could go to parks, waterparks, or DQ for 13 seperate days days(if we just did one park a day)......or does it mean I have 7 days of parks and have to use my 6 plus visits on those 7 days?

I hope I explained my question well enough, but I am really worried and confused as to how this works. Thank you in advance.

You have 7 days + 6 fun options, potentially 13 days if you use your fun options on a day you don't go to a main park, but if you go to a main park for half a day then that same day go to say, Typhoon Lagoon, you have used one park day and one fun option both in the same day. Did I just make this more complicated for you??

That is not how I understood it. I am pretty sure you have to use the number of days you bought and adding those options just gives you the option to go to the waterparks or DQ on those days...

You do not have to use the options on the same day you use a park day. With the tickets you have, yes, you potentially have 13 days of fun. :)

Just to really ease your mind, we just did this. When we went last month, we went to Blizzard Beach using an option from a non-expiring ticket we bought a couple of years ago. We did not go to a major park on the same day.

Blizzard Beach during the day, Pleasure Island at night, no other places visited -- Requires and consumes zero days and two water park fun admissions with or without hopping on your ticket.

If all the days are used up, any unused water park fun admissions are still there, until the ticket expires if it does.

Thank you for all the replies. I feel more reassured, but am still a little worried considering TinyLolitaBunny seems to have heard the same info I did. I wonder if there is a specific place I could find literature on this on the internet??

Sorry if I had worried you- thats just how I had understood it as well. I guess if other people have done this theyre right...

Probably several of the Disney-oriented sites have the info. If you scroll down on this page

http://www.mousesavers.com/wdwtixadvice.html

you'll find this quote:

"Here's the best part: the Water Park Fun & More admissions DO NOT have to be used on the same day as your main theme park admission! They are good for 14 days from the first use of your ticket. (However, it is possible to use up all of your admissions on the same day if you want.)"

That quote refers to expiring tickets. Adding the non-expiration option would make your options non-expiring as well, even if you've used all of your park days.

Scroll down a bit farther to "Using Old Park Hopper Passes" for a bit more info and confirmation of the above.

Enjoy! :)

Hmmm....reading this confused me!

I have 7 day hoppers with water park fun and more options. I have 13 days from the time I first use the ticket to use *all those options right? I could go to a park on the 13th day as long as I still had days left, correct?

:confused3 We are going in May (with the free upgrade to Magic Your Way with Park Hopper and Water Park Fun & more)...7 day ticket.

Day 1 - MK (1 day theme park)
Day 2 - MGM and Epcot (1 day theme park with hopper)
Day 3 - Blizzard Beach (1 water park visit)
Day 4 - AK and MGM (1 day theme park with hopper)
Day 5 - Typhoon Lagoon (1 water park visit)
Day 6 - MK and MGM (1 day theme park with hopper)
Day 7 - Epcot (1 day theme park)

Used: 5 Theme park days and 2 water parks fun and more visits.

Remaining days: 2 Theme Parks and 5 Water Parks/Pleasure Island/Disney Quest visits. If I get non-expiring, I will have these for our next visit? Even if I went to a Theme park the same day as the water parks (maybe for dinner/fireworks), I would no longer have any Theme park days left but would still have the 5 Water fun and more visits left?

Correct; as long as you have not used up all your Park Hopper admission days, you could go to all 4 major parks on your last day they were valid.

Well, you are almost right. With a 7 day ticket you get 6 plusses. You used 2 for the water parks, so you have 4 left to use in the 14 days before they expire. And yes, you still have 2 Theme Park days left as well.

If you have the no expiration option, and you use all of your actual Park days, can you hold onto your Fun options until your next trip if you don't use them all?

Yes. If your ticket is non-expiring, then BOTH your park days and your Pluses/Options will be non-expiring. :)
