Confused about dining reservations bookings

Hi
I have seen a lot about 60+7 and I’m slightly confused. If we are booking into our Disney hotel on Thursday 9 November, and want dining from 10th, what’s the date my dining reservations open for booking? We are there for 14 nights. And what time would I be able to book? I’m in the U.K.
Would the timing be the same for things like desert party and rhino tour? I assume I can book all the above on the app?
Many thanks!

I don't know if it's different abroad but in the US it's 60 days +10. The rule means guests staying at Disney-owned resorts can make the meal reservations for their entire trip (up to 10 days), 60 days prior to their check-in date. Instead of having to go online five different days (for example), you can make all your reservations for the entire trip on just one day.

In practice, this means that a Disney resort guest staying for a 10-day trip could actually make some of their meal reservations 70 days in advance, rather than just the 60 allowed to off-site guests. This boost gives on-site folks a decided advantage over off-site folks, particularly for hard-to-get reservations at busy times of the year. We rarely make adr's nor do we stay very long but the idea or goal would be to put your harder to get ADRs on the back end of the trip so you're well ahead of the scheduling crowd.

For dining reservations you will be able to log in on Sept 10 and make them for the first 10 days of your trip, starting with Nov 9. If there are other reservations you want, you can book for Nov 19(?) on Sept 11 I think.

I am not sure what the rules are for tours and dessert parties, you may need to research those on the disney website or some other threads here. I am planning to book a behind the seeds tour at Epcot and it looks like that is just 60 days out.

Whatever time they open here (6 or 7 AM, double check that) I would add the usual 5 hours

This makes sense, thanks. So off-site would only be able to book dining one day at a time?

Thank you for the date, that’s helpful. I didn’t know if it took weekends or anything out of the equation.

I’ll look into the other things. :)

There is a specific UK travel planning forum if you scroll down a bit, if there are more questions the experience there might be useful.

If you log onto the MDE website (not the app), it should tell you the date you can start booking your dining reservations. Go to "My Plans" under the MyDisneyExperience dropdown and under the dining icon a bit down the page it will say "Make reservations for your stay starting xxxxx"

Never tried that. I just use the old PS Calculator.

Just chiming in to add, in case it applies to somebody:

If you have a split stay between two different onsite resorts, you'll have 2 different windows for making ADRs: 60 days before each of your check-in days, for reservations spanning the length of that particular part of the split stay.

Some of this has already been answered.

60 day mark: September 10 .... 6 am U.S. Eastern Daylight Time (I believe that is 11 am BST)

The marketing phrase is "60+10", but in reality it is 60+9. Your arrival day is "Day 1" and then nine more days (Days 2-10). After Day 10, it goes to a rolling basis each consecutive day.

  • On September 10, you will be able to book reservations for the first ten days of your 14-day stay — Thursday, November 9 through Saturday, November 18.
  • On Sept. 11, you can book reservations for Sunday, Nov. 19
  • On Sept. 12, you can book Monday, Nov. 20
  • Etc., etc., etc.

weather_lady already pointed out that split stays are considered two different reservation windows.

Some people have found that they sometimes need to use a VPN and the U.S. site to book certain tours and special events (reservations open at Midnight EDT) from the U.K.
