Hiya lovely Disney Brides,:bride:

I am getting married at the swan and dolphin on the 15th October at 4.00pm.

I am getting worried about the weather being cold or even having rain, anyone know what the weather is normally like around this time? I live in the UK so havent got a clue! I am having my ceremony outside and do not want it to have to be moved inside!:guilty:

Also i want the ceremony a bit later hoping that misty can catch some photos with me and the groom with the sun set, now i am thinking is a ceremony at 4.00pm too late?! Will it be dark really early?!:headache:

Any help would be great!!

October is "pleasant" as we say..Not too hot..not too cool

you can get an afternoon shower, but October starts the dry season, so it sholdn't be too bad.

I love October!!
Daylight Savings Time will still be in effect on 10/15, so you should see sunset about 7pm

Thanks Honey!

That has made me feel much better!

Can i still wear shorts and t shirt and get a Tan in October?:laundy:

For the most part yes you can!! We are always down @ Universal around that time and that particular weekend we were down there this year and I wore a tank top and shorts!

we had a half two ceremony in sept this year and misty got some great shots. it was so hot and far to hot to wear a wedding dress. coming from the uk as well all our of guests were very hot but most places have air con so you will be fine for that. If you want sunset shots let misty and her husband know and they will do their best to get what you want

i am wearing shorts and a tank top right now..so October will be fine!
(then again..last week I was wearing uggs and jeans because it was 64 outside!! Floridians are crazy!!)

Thanks for all your help ladies.:grouphug:

I really appreciate it.

The website was really useful too!!

October weather here in Florida can be cool or warm (not hot). We were at WDW the week of Halloween, and for half the week it was 47 at night and the rest of the week was great (upper 70's). The coldest it ever gets in the daytime is the 60's, but then the sun is usually still out. October shouldn't be too cold.

It used to start getting cooler (a/k/a in the 70's) here before Halloween - now it's usually later. Hurricane season runs June 1 to November 30, but rainy season is summer time, not October. We haven't had our A/C on for awhile, but a few times last month we did have the heat on at night.

Right now the sun is setting at 6, so like DisneyDmbNut said - sunset should be at 7 if Daylight Savings Time is in effect then.
