Confused about banked points

My mom's account has a use year of April. She currently has banked points (117) as well as this year's allotment of 160. As soon as our 11 month window opens, I will make a reservation at our home resort for December 2009.

The question--will I be able to use the banked points since the ressie is made before the end March 2009? If not, what happens to them?

Sorry...to be so confused about this all.

Not too sure I completely understand your dates....But If you have an April UY where you will get another 160 points in 09 and you already banked 117 from 08 to 09, then the answer would be yes, you can use banked points for your December stay. MS should allocate those first then current UY points, On a side note if banked point are not used by UY end they will expire.

It doesn't matter when the reservation is made, it matters when the stay will take place.

For a Dec 2009 stay, your Mom can use 2008 points banked into 2009, current year 2009 points na dcan borrow 2010 points. This is true if she books tomorrow or waits until June to book. Best of luck -- Suzanne

If she banked her 2007 points, they have to be *used* by March 31, 2009. It doesn't matter when the reservation is made.

If she banked her 2008 points, MS will use those first when making a reservation for December 2009. Again, it doesn't matter when the reservation is made.
