Confused about Appetizer with Dining plan?

According to the 2010 Deluxe Dining Plan flyer Disney has out meals include an appetizer. Am I wrong on this or is it a misprint?

Deluxe dining does include appetizer, regular does not.

I am almost positive that this is correct, btu ONLY for the DxDDP NOT regular DDP.

Deluxe Dining has always included the appetizer.

Regular Dining plan does not.

If you read the fine print next to appetizer in the DDP brochure, you'll see that it says for kids age 3-9 only (or something very similar)

Quite a few people misread that, so this question comes up almost once a week.

The kids menus are built with appetizers in them. They aren't traditional appetizers by any stretch of the imagination. Generally something like carrot sticks or chicken noodle soup. You'll find what is considered an appetizer on the kids menus for that specific restaurant. It's worth noting that kids complete meals have the appetizer and dessert already built in, so you can't order a kids complete meal and an appetizer and a dessert.

Maybe I was just answering a question in advance, since some said that the regular DDP does not include appetizers. Yep, that's my story and I am sticking to it.

So for the 2011 Deluxe dining plan is an app included with the adult dinners or just for the childrens?
