I'm confused :confused3 I admit it doesn't take a lot :rotfl:

Back in May I booked 2 weeks at SSR with Free Dining and 14 day tickets for next August.

Having just returned from this years holiday we decided to extend by 2 nights so I contacted Complete Orlando to ask them to add on 2 nights and whether the dining offer would cover it. She confirmed that it would but said we would have 2 days at the end where we had no tickets but could still use the dining plan for restaurants outside the park.

I replied to say that if we didn't use the tickets until 2 days into the holiday, would they be valid 14 days from first use (which is my understanding) (we plan on a restful first day and Seaworld the second) She replied to say that the ticket will be activated at check in???

I always thought it was the first time you went through a parks scanner??

Can anybody confirm for me one way or another??

I believe you are right, tickets are activated the first time you enter a park :)

:goodvibes

I always thought it was the first time you used it to enter a park too. Prehaps phone back and ask someone else? Maybe she didnt really know.

Definitely activated on 1st park visit, we did it last year. We were there for 25 nights but only had 21 day tix, ate in resorts for the 1st 4 days then activated the tix so they were valid right thru til the end of the holiday.
Will probably be doing same next year, 24 day trip so eat in resorts for 1st 3 days.:thumbsup2

Thanks everyone - I was sure I was right but not sure enough to argue!!

On with the Planning!!!

I am so jealous - 24 days!! We just did 20 and I loved it!!! Having the extra week really made it for us. Shame we can't next year but I have to fit a summer trip in with a seasonal business and school - we have to take the first week off school as it is - daren't push it to 2!!

Are you doing Old Key West again next year? I can't read next years in your siggie.

We are also doing 16 nights at SSR with a 14 day Ultimate. We're not going to the parks on the first night because it's a waste of a day. It's only the last day we won't be able to visit the parks really, we never visit the parks on the day of the flight anyway.

Yes, this would appear correct from my experience. Last year we did not use our tickets on the first day or arrival day, but we got our full 14 days use out of them. :)

I need to sort that out, I can see it all at home on large monitor but here at work same as you it chops some off, although I haven't added next years hotel yet. We are 90% certain of OKW 4th-21st August, Disney Dream 4 nights then no idea for last 3 nights(found a deal at Regal Sun at £33/night or Country Inn LBV £30/nt) I am more interested in flights 1st, theres always a hotel to stay in.
