I'm getting conflicting information from the CM at WDW and the DIS. Talked to a several different CM at VMK central and read posts here. The actual quest pamphlet from VMK central has this wording, "Limit one (1) of each reward cards and one (1) vmk wristband per player every thirty (30) days, regardless of the number of quest levels and Quests successfully completed." So based on that I'd think you could do a quest every 30 days, right? Well, we overheard someone arguing with the CM at VMK central a couple Fridays ago. The CM was adamant that it is now every 90 days. Then another CM stepped in and said, no it's every 30 for the quests and every 90 for the tour. Who is right? Is there any official word from VMK?

The quests are clearly ever 30 days. However some report that the new quests (The one's with the quest pins) are every 90 days. The tour coupons say you can redeem them every 30 days and the tour guide said that he "was glad he'd never seen any of us again for at least another 30 days" lol. So I assume that the tour can be every 30 days. :)

Nope, I was just there and the quests and tours are in their computer system for every 90 days. I turned in a quest and was told I can't turn it in until Nov.

is that with your AP? if so than that is how they are keeping track of it. try buying a single day ticket and try it again there is no way there can track single tickets for 90 days.

:earseek: I do not want this to sound rude but why if you already own a AP would you spend 1 Day Adult Ages 10+ $63.63 or 1 Day Child Ages 3-9 $51.12 just to do the quests and/or the tour ?

Yes, that was with the AP. I was trying to get the quest stuff for a friend who won't be at parks for a couple years. However, it didn't work out. I didn't argue or anything about how the cards and the quest pamphlets say 30 days. I'll just wait 'til Nov and do quests then. No big deal.

Not desparate enough for quest stuff to spend $ like that buying a day ticket! Lol.

guess i am glad i can get in for free and have a different ticket each time i go so the 90 days only counts on the tour for me

I guess the key phrase here is the one that immediately follows that one in the fine print on the quest cards: "Subject to restrictions and change without notice."

I am not recommending the following, but do know that it works.

If by chance your AP stripe gets demagnetized or worn out and you have to get a new AP pass, it will show as a completely different pass to the VMK Central computers. The same goes for APs that are renewed.

Actually my PAP was really damaged and I just used it to see how their verification system works.

August 8th - My PAP had been spotty for a while with a very worn stripe. It needed about 4 tries to work this day. I did coupons, quests, and tours using it as verification. After tour I headed to City Hall to get PAP replaced or renewed (it expired on August 22). I wanted just a renewal pass that would run from August 8th, 2005 through August 22nd, 2006. However castmember did not know how to do that, so gave me a another pass that ran till August 22, 2005 and a renewal pass that started on that day. I went to the Poly for food and then reentered the Magic Kingdom using new pass. I did all the quests again using new pass as verification and signed up for tour the next day.

August 9th - Used my new pass to redeem another coupon and did the tour.

August 22nd - Used my renewal pass for some more coupons and the quests. Did not do the tour this time.
