Confisco Grille Character Breakfast?

How is the character breakfast at Confisco Grille? Worth it? We have ressies for it Dec 17.

Just got back from doing character breakfast on 22nd. If your kids like Spiderman, Cat in the Hat and Thing 1 and Thing 2 then it is Ok. Spiderman spends more time at your table than the characters at Disney do.
The breakfast has scrambled eggs, green eggs and ham, some pastries, waffles, and toast. Not much of a selection. It is only $16.99 I think.
If your going for the food it is not worth it, if going for the characters then it is a good deal for your money.

I just booked the character breakfast with the Grinch for Friday morning. It's $19.99 for adults,$13.99 for kids.

Old posting, I know...but would some of y'all like to share your experiences at Confisco's breakfast character meal?

We go for the character breakfast every time we visit Universal. My DD13 would be sorely disappointed if we missed it. I particularly like that Spiderman talks to you, it's such a rarity that the character can actually communicate.

Thing 1 and Thing 2 are true to form and will get away with whatever they think will be mischievous without actually making the guests mad. Came close though when they poured salt into my mom's coffee one time!

Our last visit they made the rounds and somehow our table was forgotten by Thing 1 and Thing 2, when we pointed it out they assured us if we could wait, they would be our first stop when they came back. Not only were we the first stop, but they took their good ol' time doodling on place mats, taking photos...

IMHO it's the best character dining experience out there. It's almost a hidden gem as it's never terribly crowded when we're there. The characters spend so much time with you instead of signing, photos, neeeext.....

As another poster mentioned, don't go for the food. It's comparable to a decent hotel buffet set up. But they serve fresh fruit and waffles, so that makes me happy!

It is wonderful! You will meet the Cat in the Hat, Thing 1, Thing 2, and Spider-Man. In fact, Spider-Man actuarially talks (or at least he did for us). The character interaction was great and much better than Disney's, in my opinion. It is a great value. I don't know if you signed up for the Holiday breakfast, but if you did, you will also see the Grinch. Hope you have fun!

OMG do they still have the french toast? We went 4 years ago and that was all I could talk about, I've tried to make it the same way ever since! We enjoyed that character breakfast, our son was 18 mos at the time and was a little scared of all of them but had fun anyway...enjoy!

maybe i am in the minority but i really enjoyed the food there.

all of it was fresh.
the staff constantly refilled the food sections, cleaned up spills and stood near by to assist anyone that needed help.

i had the last seating of the morning for the breakfast.

it's a repeat place for me.








i have been known to love any food that i do not have to shop for, prepare, cook/prepare or clean up after .............

I love the food, too. Their eggs are great, and the buffet was delicious and clean. I enjoyed the food more than Chef Mickey's. I am with you on the food!
