Confirmed Ressie for Christmas Time at BLT!

I just got email confirmation for Dec 20 - Dec 24 at Bay Lake Tower (2 bedroom, standard view- which, BTW was my preference!) and we are SO EXCITED! I submitted a request on-line for the reservation on Wednesday and got confirmation this morning! I was worried that we would not get in at Christmas time but it wasn't a problem. The only thing left to do is to see if I can add on more nights (18t & 19th) at the 7 month mark so I can dip into my SSR points

Well done. I spent hours on the phone on Sunday for the exact same dates but in a 1 bed Bay Lake view. I did want a standard view at first but am happy now with what I've got so not bothering trying to wait list it.

I just called today and didn't have to wait on the phone at all. I'm also going Dec. 19th to the 24th. We have a one bedroom LV. Wanted MK view but nothing available for those dates. I'm just excited about being there for Christmas. I'm also glad I won't have to take my daughter out of school. We just got back from a 4 day cruise on the wonder and she has a stack of homework to do and she's just in the first grade! My son is 3 and fascinated with the monorail, so he's even more excited.

That's great! I spent an hour on the phone to get the exact same dates for a 1br standard. Maybe we'll see you there

I usually try requesting online first, then, if I don't get what I want I call...less hassle that way (at least for me). I didn't try for a MK view mainly because we didn't have the points for it, but I'm not big on views anyway. We are never in the room long enough to care!
