confirmation with dp?

How long has it taken to get your confirmation when you booked using dp? I used our for a trip in August, booked January 16th and still no email confirmation. I emailed member services to inquire, but nothing other than the generic reply saying someone will research and reply in three business days. It's almost four weeks since I booked. Is this normal for dp bookings?

I got mine about 2 hours later via email but I think that was unusual. They said 7-10 business days.

We received our confirmation by mail about 14 days after we made the reservation. Just when I was thinking, "Hmmm that should be here by now" it was in my mailbox. The CM said that it takes a little longer to get your confirmation for a reservation with DP since they have to send it to a different area for processing. I was not given the option of receiving the confirmation via e-mail.

I agree with the above post, almost the exact same thing for me. Just as I was wondering if I should call, the confirmations showed up in the mail about 2.5-3 weeks after booking. Since it's been 4 weeks for you, you may want to call MS again just to double-check....

I just got mine today after calling it in on 01/24/09. And that has been after repetive phone calls . I had to call last week and ask that a rush be put on it since the person is leaving on 03/01/2009. When I called last week they were only inputting for the date of 01/14/2009 call ins.

We made two reservations. For the first one we made........we still haven't received a confirmation in e-mail or mail but I've confirmed with MS twice now. For the second one we made.........we got an e-mail confirmation about a week later. Seems to be totally inconsistent.

We never received our e-mail. We called to check on it and they gave us our confirmation #, I called later to change dates and was told it would take about 4 weeks! Still waiting!

Made ressie for a trip in April, back in Septemeber as soon as we bought in to DVC. I emailed Member services (January 16) and received a reply that it had been sent to me by email back in Spetember. Ummm nope.

Booked a trip on Jan 2, for a weekend trip in March was told it would take 2 weeks to get confirmation.

Called Jan 16 and ask for confirmations for both trips to be mailed to me. Received the confirmation for our March trip, but not the one in April (the very first one we booked).

Called MS 2 weeks ago and was told that dp ressie confirmations are only sent via email. Umm so not true for the piece of paper I have for my March trip.

Will be calling and calling for the April trip confirmations. Seems like you have to stay on them.

Called MS today and found they are WAY behind on confirmation for dp reservations, like they are working on January 9th right now. So it will be a bit before we get our confirmation email. At least I know.
