We submitted an online request about a month ago - no confirmation email. Two days ago I sent an update with our now-assigned room number. I haven't heard anything (as of last night, I'm traveling now).

Yes, I can call them, but first I'd like to know if I should receive a confirmation email? A pet peeve of mine is to offer online service that then forces a phone-call - if you're going to do business on-line you should do all of it on-line (IMO).

I'll make dh call if necessary, it is his tuxedo after all.... ;)

Thanks

Masonpips--

I completely relate! I too think that if a business is going to offer online services then that is exactly what they should be!

Anyway, I think the company should *either* e-mail you a confirmation or call you with a confirmation. No confirmation at all is just insane!

I hear ya! We did the res on line also and never received a confirmation so I did go ahead and call to make sure everything was done properly. Yes, they infact did have it all and then gave me the conf# too bad you have to call when it is offered online! :( :(

Enjoy your cruise!! Ours is next week!!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I think you have to call. :(

When I called to inquire about our tuxes, the person on the other end didn't even need me to finish my sentences. As soon as I said that I have e-mailed the order, she asked for our name, ship, and sailing dates, and automatically gave the confirmation number.

She must get a LOT of these calls . . .

I order a tux online for my DH. Didn't receive a confirmation email. Why do they ask for your email address if they aren't going to send any info?

I also made an e-mail ressie online and didn't get a confirmation email UNTIL I called them! I told them that we sail Oct.19th and that I just wanted to make sure that they had our ressie. Sure enough they did and gave me a confirmation # and I said thanks! No sooner then 2 hours, I received an e-mail with the exact same info that they gave me on the phone. Go figure!

Going on our first 7 day in May and was wondering how to rent a tux for a cruise. Where are you all getting yours? Do the deliver them to your stateroom? How about returning them?

Thanks.

We use cruiselineformal.com. You can place an order by one of 2 ways. 1. Go to your nearest tux shop and get measured and go to their web page and fill in the order form or get their number off the site and call them with the order. 2. If you know someone who can measure you at home, they give directions on the site on how to take them. The only thing with that is they don't tell you how to get the coat measurement so you either need to know how to get a coat measurement or know your coat size. We have used this service for our last 2 cruises and for this one coming up on the 19th. They deliver them straight to your room. When they do, try it on immediately because IF there is a problem too long, too short, etc. there is someone on board to alter it for you or replace it for a different size. Be forworn, their inventory on board isn't very big and it's a first come first serve base. At the end of your cruise, leave them in your stateroom and your stateroom host/hostess will take them.

You may want to consider buying one. Check eBay and your local shops - I got mine on eBay - looks like new and cost less than renting one and now I won't have to worry about it for our next cruise!
