confirmation number

I was pre-paying for my room and called for the balance. I gave them my confirmation number (from the email they sent me). This gave me a 7 night stay at the HRH in november. Except I am going to the PBH in April. They pulled up my reservation under my name and gave me my confirmation number verbally, so I went ahead and prepaid.

So heres my thing. Should I be worried? I have a confirmation email with my upgrade to a portofino suite, but the number on the email is wrong. they are supposed to be re-sending me a confirmation, but I havent received it yet. After the run-around last year I am nervous about it. (they tried to charge me full price and said I didnt get my upgrade, but I had my email).

Am I just being paranoid?

Not paranoid, just cautious.

Make sure you get a confirmation email with all correct info before heading down. Not because of any history with Universal - just because that would be the most prudent thing to do.

How did you pre pay cause I have a room at the RPR for july and they told me I couldn't and all they could charge was one night for a deposit and I would have to pay the rest at check out.

THat is incorrect. You can pre-pay. All you have to do is call and they will email you a form that you need to fill out and send back. It;s easy. We do it everytime we stay at Universal.

Linda, I would make sure the email is correct. We changed our reservation last year (just the price) and it never made it into the system even though the reservationish said it was there. There must be two different systems so make sure your email confirmation is correct.
