Confirmation letter for AP rates says to bring Florida Resident ID?

I upgraded my ASMu reservation into an AP rate CSR reservation for $99.00(pre tax) a night for 12/9-12/16. I just got my confirmation letter in the mail and it says on there:

Special Needs Request (I expected this since I want a roll in shower)
Eligible Annual/Seasonal Pass required at check in (OK NP here)
Florida Resident ID required upon check in (Whoa, I never said I was a Florida resident, the mailing address for me is Baltimore MD)

So is this normal or have they messed up my reservation?

I didn't notice that but mine says balance has to be paid by Nov 28 which is about 3 weeks before arrival. Anyone else get that?

Nope, mine doesn't say that. The only thing mine says about that is:

Deposit AMT Due: $.00

I just noticed under "Package Type" mine says "Passholder Room Only".

I think I can help you here. Your letter says Eligible Annual/Seasonal Pass required at check in. The seasonal pass is for Florida residents only. So it is probably just worded badly. They meant to say if you have a seasonal pass you need Fl. ID. You may want to call and make sure they don't have you down under a Florida discount code though, just to be safe. Have a great trip.

Just got mine yesterday--AP rate--and mine says the same thing. It also says "Package Type: AP rate", don't know if that's the problem. I'm going to call later today. I'll post with results.

This was already discussed on another thread. The confirmatin letters that state payment in full before arrival are wrong. It was some kind of computer glitch. When you call CRO, they have pay on arrival in their computers.

I just got off of the phone with CRO. They said my reservation just showed an AP Discount and not a Florida Resident Discount. So it looks like some sort of glitch in the confirmation letter system.

this is what my CSR ressie said too. also that balance to be paid by NOV. :confused3

I called and the CM said that was a glitch and I could pay at check-in, which I always do.
I got her name and time of call just to be sure. :rotfl:

Call and check about it being a Florida Resident Rate. I'm not sure what happened, but we booked general public rate at AKL 2 years ago, and our confirmation came with this. When we called to check on it, a mistake indeed had been made. Fortunately, the CM helping us just made a note on our ressie that there had been a mistake and not to ask for FL i.d. or charge us more.

Was the rate on your confirmation the AP rate available?

I received my AP confirm letter. It says full payment due in Oct. some time for our 11/18 arrival. Not a problem as I plan on having it paid in full before we go so I can get all the Disney dollars I can.

The rate was the normal $99.00 pre tax AP rate for that time period. I called CRO earlier today and they told me I had just a normal AP rate for the hotel and to not worry about it.
