Confirmation email

I hope this is the right place for this. Mods may move it if necessary.

Last night I booked our trip, two rooms at POP for May. I got two confirmation numbers, but I only got an email for one. Is that standard since the two are linked together? Or should I have gotten one for each room?

I've never booked two rooms for one trip, but even though the rooms are linked, you should get two email confirmations since they are different reservations with different confirmation numbers. Sometimes it takes awhile before you get the email confirmation, so you should be getting another one. Wait another day or two and see if you receive the other one. If nothing comes through, you can log into the Disney site and put in the confirmation number just to make sure everything is there for the second room. You can also call Disney and request that they resend the email. Good luck.

You're welcome :goodvibes. I have had confirmation emails come through within 10-15 minutes of booking, while other times it was a day or two later. But I would call back if in a day or two you don't see anything for the second room.

I hope so, because I just tried to look for the second one and nothing was coming up. :worried: I wrote the number down, but it's at home so I'm hoping I was just putting it in wrong. I would assume since they gave me a confirmation number, the reservation has to exist somewhere, right?
 
My conformation when I added Photopass plus to my package didn't arrive til the following day. Usually get them within hours. Keep checking.
 
You should have one email for each reservation regardless if they are linked or not. I will say that when I have booked multiple rooms it alway seemed like I got the one confirmation email right away then the next one came a day or so later. If you don't get it by tomorrow, I just call and verify that everything is ok with the reservation.

If you have a confirmation number, you should be ok. Also, if you paid the deposit when you booked, check your cc to see if the charge has posted or is pending.

I'm sure everything is fine, but just keep checking and call if you don't get anything in a day or two.
 
I just booked two rooms for May at POR. For some reason that I cannot grasp, the CM on the phone insisted the second room be under my Uncle's name instead of mine, even though I was paying for both. She also would not send the 2nd room receipt to my email because she told me it had to go to his. So, I received an email receipt for the 1st room under my name, but they mailed the 2nd receipt. So now my grandparents and aunt/uncle know how much the room is costing...

I booked in February, and I know they had switched over to this new MDE and all its unresolved flaws. But basically the CM said that even though it was a linked reservation, it was still two reservations in their system for admin purposes. I also cannot add the 2nd room to MDE. Le sigh.

That was long, haha, but hopefully yours will go smoother and another email will magically appear :wizard:
 
I will checking my email religiously for the next two days at least. LOL

ETA: Found out what happened! It just dawned on me that when I was giving everyone's info last night, the second room went under my sister's name and they had her email on file, so the second confirmation went to her! I texted her at lunch to be sure, and sure enough she got the email!
