2. I am secretly happy that my daughter doesn't like her dad. I wrote out all the reasons why but then deleted it to not hijack the thread. To sum it up, he has become a different person in the last few months. She used to see him at least 3x a week, now she is lucky to get a call once a week. She is 11and up until October he was the king of the world to her. Now, she hopes he stays out of town so she can stop hurting. :sad2:

It breaks my heart to see her so upset over a jerk who is only thinking of himself.

I could have written this minus the fantasy stuff. I live in jeans and tennis shoes in the winter (got the Muppets Take Adidas Kermit ones for Christmas!!), and denim capri's and croc sandals in the summer.

To echo the most popular themes:

- I was excommunicated from the church in which I grew up
- My house is filthy because I refuse to clean up after my husband or 16.5 year old daughter
- I like fast food, but it doesn't like me
- I hate to drive, I get lost constantly, and it embarrasses and angers me
- I don't mind cooking, but feel like there's never time
- I've lived in this town almost 4 years, and have not made one friend.

This made me sad :( I hope that a friend comes along for you. I hate to drive...and actually do NOT drive.

let's see....

1. i love wal-mart. my town doesn't have a target, and our k-mart is a joke; as a matter of fact, it's on the list of k-marts to be closed down.
2. i buy all of my work clothes at jcpenney, because the sizing is somewhat "forgiving".
3. i resent my mother for being so severely mentally ill and causing our family so much pain over the past 2 years. i know it's wrong, and i'm working really hard to not feel that way, but i haven't gotten there yet.
4. i have a HUGE hole in my septum (wall that separates the nostrils) from using flonase, and i'm afraid my nose is going to collapse.
5. my house is very dirty, because we always had housekeepers when i was growing up-my DB and i would go to school on a certain day of the week and when we'd come home, the house was magically clean. i never learned how to clean house, and i've been winging it all these years. i need someone to teach me. i "clean" here and there, but the house is never entirely clean all at once.
6. on the flip side, my desk at work is scrupulously neat, and i can't concentrate if it's cluttered.
7. i have no friends. honestly, not one. there is no one i can call to share good or bad news. it makes me cry sometimes, but i've made all possible efforts. i'm a very good friend, always supportive and there when needed, but no one wants to be my friend.

Your last confession made me sad, too. I hope that you are able to make a friend. Everyone needs someone to lean on. I have a lot of acquanitences, but only a handful of GOOD friends....and I would be lost without them..

Me too (on lemon juice and worchestershire). But I can't do "fake lemon juice". I have to have the real thing . So we spend a lot of $$ on lemons each month.

My fave is sauteeing mushrooms in butter, worchestershire and fresh squeezed lemon. Serving them over angel hair, squeeze lemon, top with parmesan.
