Those flashback pictures are great! Very disney in the 90s. It makes me want to dig up my own pictures...the first time I went to disney I was FIVE! I love it!

Great "movie day without a movie" lol. Somehow these days are getting less and less involved as disney gets closer and closer!

Yeah, some of our days aren't as involved- some are just more fun to plan for than others and its getting harder to come up with ideas. Plus it was REALLY hot yesterday.

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the pics! The HSM day was fun- we are a little stumped right now because we've done so many and we are fizzling a bit, lol. I have a few ideas but today is my dd's birthday so I have no extra money this week to spend on Disney days... I'm sure we'll come up with something to do on the cheap.

I have FINALLY caught up with this PTR....it's only taken me about two weeks, lol. I initially read just the quick links, but then decided.. I think I'm missing out on some good comments and suggestions.. so I began to read the whole thread. I have gotten some GREAT idea's here...Thanks Hope and Karen for the advice on many things. I'm tossing up in the air about getting PH and or Water parks and more add-on to the tickets. We are going down in Feb 2011... park hours will be the shortest and I was thinking that if we decide to hit a park on a day it closes early, by having the PH passes, we could just finish out the day at another park. Not fond of going back to the resort at 6pm on some of the days.

To add comments to the autograph portion of this thread.. I have ordered mine through Artscow and just LOVE them!!! I paid about $25.00 for my first one.. and after receiving it... I fell in love with it so much that I hopped on and ordered two more.. I need a total of 7... 3 are already ordered. This second order only cost me $30 bucks!!! I got a GREAT deal with Artscow. They offered FREE shipping, or 30% off your order. I used the 30% off cause it was a better deal. I searched MANY other sites and none compared in price or quality. Keep in mind though, the reason my books are so costly is because I have 63 pages to them, and removed the artscow ad on the last page. (that alone was a $2.00 charge)

Well, I'm glad things are falling into place for you... just wish mine would start falling into place.. I know I can't get official rates until August.. but I would be able to still reserve the rooms now. Though, because of my wait on our tax return.. (YES! We STILL haven't gotten them.. it's been over three months now since we submitted them and we are being told, at a minimum, another 6-8 weeks yet! DESPRESSING!!!) I can't make the ressies cause we don't have the spare cash.

Well, don't want to keep you any longer or depress you with my issues.. so.. looking forward to continuing along and patiently waiting your return to see pics!! It's been 14 years since I've been there.. I'm LONG over due!

WOW! I can't believe you read all that! I'm glad you were able to get some good info out of all the ramblings, backtracking, and chaos, lol. I looked into ArtsCow as well, I guess I just went with what is familiar when I chose Snapfish- I've been using them for years so I figured I'd stick with what I know.

I can't believe you have to wait so long for your tax return! I hope you get it soon and get your reservation done!

Hi everyone! I haven't been posting much lately- I've been reading all of your PTRs just not responding much. We have been BUSY- but its a fun type of busy so I'm not complaining.

I did have one small tidbit that I wanted to share in case its helpful to anyone else. We normally park our car in long term parking when we vacation. We live a couple of hours from the airport and it really is asking a lot to expect someone to take us and pick us up so we just park. Its nice when we get home not to have to search for anyone or worry about them waiting if our flight is delayed. (Or us waiting when we can get an earlier connection like dh and I managed on our last solo trip.) Anyway, we just park. I started looking to see if there were any coupons or good deals starting to float around and I discovered that its the same price for us to stay at an airport hotel and park for the week. In fact we'll get a free hot breakfast out of it so we'll actually come out ahead. This is great news because we won't have to leave the house before dawn to make it to the airport on time and will be able to start our day more rested. I love finding a good deal that also makes life easier.

Yep, I think its going to make our travel day so much more pleasant. We won't have to get up as early and we'll be able to sit down to a (FREE) hot breakfast instead of grabbing something on the way or having doughnuts. I think it will help us arrive more rested so we'll have more energy for DTD!

Yep, I rinsed them early yesterday morning but since we've been so busy I've just now finished washing the last one and put it in the dryer. But now I'm about to head out for the day (summer has been crazy around here!) so I won't get pics posted until this evening. They turned out great though.

Friday Karen and I headed over to MA's (crazyforgoofy) house to do our Mickey tie dyes. It rained and we ended up having to do them in the kitchen, lol. We had a nice afternoon and I'm so glad I had these two ladies to walk me through this process! The shirts turned out great and I can hardly wait to wear them!
