Conference Call to add DDP?

So some rooms in our party for a December trip might want to do the DDP. But we, as the members, have to be the one to make the call, right? And someone will have to pay for it right then and there right? No waiting until check-in anymore....

For a party of 15, that's an astronomical amount of money!

Can we do a conference call with me (the member), and the others in the party to add the DDP? I give the authorization to add it and the CM takes the other's payment info?

You do have to pay for it when added, at least 48 hours in advance.

I believe that you can do the conference call or, have your guests purchase Disney Gift cards and then you can call and use those to pay for it. They can just give you the gift card # (if they are not close by).

This answers the question I had....we can use Disney gift cards to pay for the ddp via dvc?
