We are flying through PHL on our way to MCO we have 55 min to make conections . in to F out of C ? all on US Air . Is this enough time ? We will be traveling on 9/11 will that complate things ?

Is there an option to connect in Charlotte? Charlotte is a much better hub to connect through than PHL for USAirways. PHL has the most air traffic delays in the country. I've seen cases where they will not allow your plane to take off from your home city because of traffic slowdowns in PHL.

Us Airways only flys to PHL from bgr to fly through a different airport we would have to cange airlines and we have nonrefunable tickets .

I don't want to discourage you but last summer on US Air, we had to connect in PHL. The airport itself was filthy, most of the workers unhelpful, we had to take a shuttle to the connecting gate and our luggage never made it onto the plane. Then due to rain, we ended sitting on the runway for 3 hrs, in the middle of summer with no air conditioning "to save fuel".

We vowed we would never connect in PHL again. We're giving US Air another shot but going to Charlotte this time.

Good luck.

i have never had any problems in PHL....we fly frequently, live near the airport and have only been delayed once and it was due to a blizzard in feb!! just look at the map, use the moving sidewalks and you should be fine...most the USair flights are in 2 terminals, so they shouldnt be too far apart,,good luck!!

I fly in and out of PHL and have never found it "filthy" (that would be DTW). 55 minutes is plenty of time to make that connection.

:thanks: :disrocks: Thanks for the info on PHL. Does anyonje know if there will be extra security because we are traveling on the 5 th anniversary of 9/11?

It doesn't matter, you never leave the sterile concourse.
