I had the larger cut of Filet Mignon, and it was well prepared and delicious. The service was excellent. Its a little pricey, but going back this year with the MYW dining plan, which makes it a bargain.
The only drawback to the Concourse is that you sometimes get a noise overflow from Chef Mickeys--not the most romantic atmosphere sometimes.
We ate here in Dec. I had the small filet which came with garlic mashed potatoes with fried onion frizzies on top. They were so good. The butter on the steak was very good its made with a wine I forget which. We also had crab cakes for appetizer which were very tasty. They had a mango salsa with them. Dessert was the vanilla creme brulee which also was very good.
I didn't find the noise from CM or the monorail disturbing. We really enjoyed this meal.
We have eaten there several times, they used to have a NY strip special I think. It was delicious! HAd those yummy garlic mashed potatoes. DH and I each ordered it and the girls easily sharde off of ours, think it was like 12oz. It had some type of reduction sauce/ demiglaze on it, really tasty. Would definitely eat there again next time at the CR!
It's quite good and the CR is a fun place to browse around before or after dinner. Also we so much enjoy being in a place where we can watch the monorail roll through.
I agree--if you look at the choice for MYW dining, the Concourse is one of the major bargains! On the same token, I would definitely make PS if you want to be sure of getting in!
We try to have lunch there every other trip. DS loves their NY strip. I;ve always enjoyed the specials of the day because they are usually not beef. Its a nice getaway and we've never had a ps or had to wait and have been at all different times.
