We're staying at the Contemporary in May and I was just wondering what people thought of the Concourse Steakhouse. We've done Chef Mickey's and the California Grill several times, but we've never eaten at the Steakhouse. Is it good for dinner? What about breakfast and lunch? I'd love to hear your experiences.

The food and service has always been excellant when we eat there. We always eat their at least once when ever we are at WDW.

We eat breakfast at Concourse several times per vacation. The food has always been yummy and hot. The service has always been friendly, you can hear the sining from Chef Mickey's and watch the monorail zip by above you. The dinner is pretty good too. Enjoy!

Always good! We love the steaks & prime rib for dinner. They have a wonderful Ceasar salad for lunch which makes it a great escape from MK. You must try the Cappicino parfait, it is wonderful!!!!

All the meals are good and you wont go wrong. We always have found the servers here very friendly as well.

I finally had dinner there last May and the service was great. The food was good but not really memorable except for the dessert. I didn't think the ambiance was that great either. If you need good food and don't want to travel this is a good place to go but there are many other, more interesting places to eat around the 7 Seas Lagoon and at WDW.

Concourse Steakhouse for Breakfast is quite good - large selection of choices:

Also neat to see the Monorail go by - if you have kids, they might be distracted by the goings on at Chef Mickey's next door - finally, if you are heading to MK after you can always walk over from there (about 10-12 minutes) to get some of that breakfast moving along

We have had dinner there and were quite pleased - having said that we preferred Kona Cafe at Poly for dinner but that was entirely due to the better seafood quality and selection there

We like to go to this restaurant in the late evening. Often we would just get a salad, French onion soup, and appetizer. With their great bread ....it is a perfect ending.

The CS has the best burgers in WDW, IMHO. A great spot for lunch outside the MK.

We tried the breakfast while we were staying at the CR in December. Our food was not very warm and our server was not very friendly. The "not friendly" servers were very common for us on our trip. The restaurants we enjoyed had pleasant people serving our food. I would like to say that those mini sticky buns at the concourse steakhouse were yummy! Seemed like no matter how we were treated or "if" the food wasn't that great there was always a positive at each restaurant!

I highly recommend the place! The food is excellent and the service is wonderful. Have great memories of a romantic dinner for two there years ago.:sunny:

We had dinner there a few years back. The food was tasty and the service was friendloy and efficient. It was a comfortable, casual atmosphere, and we enjoyed the meal.

The dessert was about the best creme brulee I've ever had!!

Concourse Steakhouse is a great choice. DH and I stayed at the CR last Sept and ate there one evening. We both very much enjoyed the meals (and I am a vegetarian), and we LOVED our waiter. Be sure to ask for Robert.

I am having a hard time deciding between the Concourse Steak house or Cinderella's Castle for lunch on Valenitines Day. Any help in making the decision

The food at Concorse Steakhouse is MUCH better than at Cinderella's Royale Table. The atmosphere is MUCH better in the castle. Which one is more important to you will help you choose. I have found the food at Cinderella's to be interesting sounding on the menu and the presentation is good but the taste is never really good. It isn't bad but not great either.

We had dinner at the Concourse Steakhouse last week during our stay at the CR.

While I'm not a steak eater, the pasta dish I ordered was terrific. It was a penne with mushrooms, asparagus, and sun-dried tomatoes. I wish I could have eaten it all. The bowl was enormous and quite frankly everyone at our table (3 people) could have eaten from this bowl and still been full. The stacked tomato and fresh mozzarella were quite tasty, and I highly recommend the cheesecake, which we also shared. YUM!
