Who has been to the concourse steak house at the contemporary??? What can you tell me about it. We've never been there and now i heard its going to be closing in a few months.... were considering going on our upcoming trip now. All i know about it is its located next to chef mickeys and i read the menu on all ears. What the atmosphere like?? the food??? any tips for eating there?? any special dishes we must try?? Also pictures would be great!! thanks!

We ate there last year and we said we'd never go back, so I'm glad its closing! The service was terrible, the food was just ok, nothing special, and I didn't like the atmosphere at all. I'd say go elsewhere!

My family and I have had dinner there two times and we thought it was great. The food was great along with the service and it's always a nice atmosphere so we have no complaints about it.

I haven't personally ate here. I will never get to unfortunately :(. I read a lot of reviews outside of the DIS and a few people rated this their favorite steak place that they tried on Disney property. I always wanted to try it and never got around to it.

We ate there on are last trip. The food was great but it can get loud because its right beside Chef Mickeys.

We have ADRs there for May. I have heard it is closing but have read the end of May, then another source says it'll be closed on our ADR date which is the second week of May, anyone hear anything official?

I eat here every time I go to WDW. The food and service are excellant. I only hope the new Wave will be just as good. I can understand the move as it can get noisey at times with Chef Mickeys right next to it. If you go for breakfast you have to try the banana french toast. The prime rib was excellant.

We have ate there 2 years ago, and I guess I'd say it was ok. It was a little strange of eating in the locaation. Also, the restrooms were downstairs which was a little strange. My kids loved Chef Mickey's which was right across and they tend to say "mom can we go to chef mickey's" Our waitress took a long time to get the drinks and food which me and my dh didn't mind however, our kids were getting a little impatient. I guess the only good thing would be the food was REALLY good, and atleast in the end my kids liked the food. Have fun!

Next Trip- July 17th- 27th at the Beach Club!

May 31st is the last day it will be open, so that means on June 1st they will start turning it into Chef Mickey's Express.

I just made an ADR for 5/31! I'm hoping that it'll still be ok. I'm hoping it'll be good. Eating in a restaurant on its last day makes me a little nervous. :-)

I've eaten there various times for Breakfast & Dinner and I've always enjoyed it. The food was always good. However, the atmosphere is not cozy or quiet. With the monoral, Contemporary concourse and Chef Mickeys it can be very noisy. For the food and I guess nostalgia, I'd give it a try. But if you're looking for a quiet, cozy atmosphere - this isn't it.

We just ate there in March 08 and really enjoyed it. I love the French Onion soup and my husband likes the steaks. I got a plain pasta dish with fresh tomato, portabello mushrooms, italian olives, red peppers, and slices of parmesian cheese drizzled with olive oil. It was great.

Do I need to make ADRs for the Concourse steak house? I was thinking that our family could eat breakfast here when we visit in May.

I am not sure how busy they can get in terms of turning away guest who try to walk-in, so it's best to make an ADR just incase so you won't get turned away. Now in December 2004 my Dad and I were able to walk-in there for dinner, however maybe because it was just myself and him it made things easier being a table of 2. Plus the DDP is a lot more popular now then it was a few years ago.

We ate there in January and loved it! I'm not a big steak eater, but I did enjoy the meal I had! My picky eaters even ate the broccolini and liked it! It was fairly quiet the night we went...forgot CM was just behind us...service was great. My brother also eats here every time he visits...one of his favorites too! Hoping the Wave will be just as good!

Great reviews! does anyone have any pictures??? or just more reviews is fine..haha thanks!

This was our best neal during our ten day stay. And the service was even better than the food. Our server advised us against the prime rib for that evening, and also suggested a substitution for my meal that was just fabulous (the mashed potatoes over the bread salad).

Kids loved their dinner and both parents adored theirs, meat was fabulously tender and well seasoned and cooked to order.

I had been bummed before the trip to not have gotten CM, but I think I will skip it more often in favor of the Wave!

We loved Concourse- Going one more time before they close. Everything was delicious and we could substitute with no problems. Service was wonderful:)
