Concourse Steakhouse or Yachtsman Steakhouse?

Concourse Steakhouse. My family & I have compared their menu prices to other WDW restaurants that are in the same area of what they serve & Concourse Steakhouse always has the best prices.

CC is a very nice restaurant, but IMO, I don't think it is in the same league as Yachtsman. We have eaten at both and I would pick Yachtsman everyday of the week and twice on Sunday over CC.

I have reservations in August for the YC, so I cannot offer an opinion on that steakhouse, but my family had dinner at the CS in january. I need to place my ADR's tomorrow for our January trip, and every member of my family asked that we skip CS this time. I was surprised to hear this, but they did not really like it. I cannot compare the two, but will add YS if we like the meal in August.

We only had one real complaint about the food, which was rectified and later addressed by the manager, so I think they really did not care for the atmosphere.

We eat at Yachtsman Steakhouse almost every trip. The food is wonderful as is the service. I think it is a step up from Concourse and I would pick it every time.

YS is definitely a step up from CS. However, for non-steak eaters such as myself, there is more to choose from on the CS menu, so CS would be my preference

I agree that YS is better than CS. That doesn't mean that CS is bad, but YS is several notches above on the restaurant scale.:earsboy:

Yachtsman Steakhouse was wonderful when we were there. Not sure if better then CS we have not been.

We've been to YS 3 times in the past and then tried the CS on our last trip last month. The YS was much better food and atmosphere wise. Service has been good at both places. I thought that we would spend less $$ (not on dining plan) by dining at CS but were surprised the it was quite similar to what we pay at YS. I think the teens must have ordered extras at CS :confused3 I'm glad we tried the Concourse to say we have, but will return to the Yachtsman.

We've done both places several times over the years. Overall they are both good, but we give the nod to Yachtsman. Great service, atmosphere and food (not necessarialy in that order). For us the Concourse Steakhouse has a dis-advantage because of its location immediately adjacent to Chef Mickey's, which means that every 15 minutes or so the noise level goes up substantially.
