Concourse Steakhouse or Chef Mickeys??

We are staying at the CR. The 2nd night I want a ADR at the hotel. I already have a ressie for Chef Mickeys but am thinking of switching. Any thoughts? I have two DS age 9 but the following day we are going to LTT. Is two charater meals two days in a row too much??

With kids, I think that Chef Mickey's is the better choice. There is so much to see while you eat, and the dinner buffet there is pretty decent. It will be loud, busy, and not nearly as relaxing as the Concourse Steakhouse, but it will be a lot of fun. You can never do too many character meals

The Concourse Steakhouse is very good, and you probably would get better food there than you would at Chef Mickey's. Freshly prepared food cooked to order is almost always going to better than buffet fare.

As a different option, instead of staying at the Contemporary for dinner, did you consider hopping on the monorail and going to the Poly for dinner? Ohana and Kona are my two of my favorite restaurants at Walt Disney World.

I agree with the previous poster ! We just returned from The World 2 weeks ago and had our usual meal at Chef Mickey's and also a meal at The Concourse ,as usual CM'S prevailed for all of us! My DD's(6&7 yrs.old )are always greatly entertained at CM's, they weren't thrilled at all with the steakhouse except for their dessert(PaintersPallet)! And you can never do too many character meals -this past trip we did 8 of them!

I'd probably keep the CM reservation. I love Concourse, but my kids prefer CM.

...we love Concourse and CM's is loved by the kids (us too). With kids, CM's for sure. As for to many character meals? I have two daughters and we're staying 6 days, first 5 TS meals are: Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, 1900 Park Fare, Ohana, then Donald's Breakfastasarous....
