Concourse or Yachtsman Steakhouse?

We love, love, love the Concourse Steakhouse. But, since we are using Delux DP in April, we wanted to try Yachtsman Steakhouse. I know this will be our last chance to enjoy the Concourse, but I am just not sure what to do. What experiences does anyone have with the YSH?

Both were very enjoyable on our honeymoon in 2005. For the money though, the food was about equal. If you need romantic ambiance, go with YS. BUt I really like Concourse too! Since it's your last chance to enjoy that little gem, I say Concourse!

im a little partial to YSH..i had my wedding dinner & 10yr anniversary dinner there....so it has my vote!!! LOVE IT!!!

We've done both and our favorite is YSH by far. No, Concourse isn't a bad place, its just that YSH is sooooo good!

We just ate at the concourse in Dec and I was very disappointed, We have eaten here for many years but this year was the worst. We had a waiter that just keep bring us food and would not slow down Salads, meal, and a dessert that I did not ask for. All that food in 45 mis. Just awful. Do youself a favor ..go to the YSH.

The Yachtsman is my favorite. I have had 8 special dinners there over the last 9 months everyone has been great. The atmosphere is awesome. The steaks are handcut daily and all the food is freshly prepared daily.


Have a great time whatever your choice.

Try going to Concourse in April, they will be gone buy May. No more Concourse.

We LOVE the Concourse too! I say eat there one last time! We were so sad when we were done eating this past trip!

Thanks everyone! We have decided to eat at Concourse one last time and I know I will cry. (but, then, I always cry on our last night at The World). It has become a tradition for our last night in WDW to have dinner at the Concourse, and we will miss it so much!! I would do both, but I have no more room in our plans for YSH this trip. I will just plan to do YSH when we go in June to WDW.

It is being replaced by a new restaurant that will be on the first floor of the Contemporary, and the area where Concourse is now will become some other eatery (maybe CS?)

The new restaurant replacing the Concourse Steakhouse is going to be called the Wave, which will feature an Asian themed menu. Where the Concourse Steakhouse that area will soon become the Contemporary's new counter service location replacing the Food & Fun Center, which is to be called Chef Mickey's Express.
