Concierge

Hi! We're going to WDW Jan 24-31st. I can't wait. It's my family of 5...with three children, ages 8,9 and 11.

Which concierge is the most child friendly and offer the best spread?

Best spread and close to MK would be the Polynesian

OKay, we've got reservations at AKL Concierge and Poly Concierge...anyone have any preferences and why? I'd though about splitting our stay between the two?

Currently, we have 2 AKL standard rooms (109 a night)
1 AKL concierge room
1 Poly Concierge.

With our bigger family, which one would you choose? I wonder about the two rooms....however, concierge might be right up our alley...which is more important concierge or two bathrooms and extra sq feet?

Wow, 2 of my favorites! You will notice a difference in the room sizes, AKL is pretty tight for our family of 5. Why not just keep the split stay and take advantage of the Sunrise Safari.....my family would say concierge all the way.

The AKL & the Polynesian are our two favorite concierge lounges! But with the ages of your children I would stay at the Polynesian. The two-story lounge is very kid-friendly. The AKL is also very nice, but the closeness to the MK and being on the mono-rail can't be beat.

You may be a little cramped with 3 kids (we have 2) but you'll like the concierge.

Splitting the stay would be a great idea! If I had my choice I'd do the AKL first and then the Polynesian. The AKL is awesome, but it IS off the beaten path a bit and not much to do. At the Polynesian you can take the mono-rail AND watch the water parade, AND if you get a lagoon view you can watch the fireworks from your room or the beach. (Altho I would HIGHLY recommend to go to the park to see/hear the fireworks as I think WISHES is the best fireworks show ever!)

You'll have a great time with either!!
