Concierge Use On Checkout Day?

If you aren't leaving until later in the day, can you use the concierge lounge on checkout day past the hotel checkout time? I'm staying at AKL in concierge for the first time and wondered what the rules are. Thanks!

I know on your check-out day you need to be out of your room by 11:00 AM, however your KTTW cards would not expire until 12:00 AM. So they would still work in the elevator to access the lounge and I guess you could leave your luggage with bell services. Honestly I can't give you a straight answer so I say it's best to ask them at the Animal Kingdom Lodge what the rule is.

Same here. It is not a problem to use the lounge even after you have vacated your room.

Are you sure? Because the CMs at the Poly told me that when I checked out the key wouldn't work and I wouldn't be able to get back in the buiding.

Of course I'm getting fairly used to wrong info from cms, lol . But I wanted to settle up my account a couple hours before we were vacating the room and this is why she discouraged me from doing it.

I have stayed concierge more than a dozen times (at the YC and AKL, but never the Poly). On virtually every one of those trips, we have accessed the lounge on our departure day after checking out of the hotel. The key card has still worked in the elevator to access the lounge after the check-out time.

Its a little different at the Poly because you have to get into the building to get to the elevator (or stairs - it's really open, once you are in you are in).

I'm going to try it next time just out of curiosity - it wouldn't be the first time I got incorrect information from a cm - gotta love 'em!
