Concierge room location - AKL

We're staying concierge at AKL (thanks to all of the helpful info on this board!) and I'm wondering how centrally located the concierge rooms are. Are they located fairly close to the lounge or are the deluxe rooms spread throughout the 5th and 6th floors?

I've already requested non-smoking, savannah view, bunk beds, so I'd hate to push it even more by requesting a specific trail. Any thoughts???

It was my understanding that you could not request a savannah view when booking conceirge at AKL. Disney would pick pool or savannah for you.

This is one of the reasons I've been on the fence about upgrading to conceirge, because we really want that savannah view (I requested Zebra Trail - although I'm not really picking about room location).

If you had a standard savannah view before going with conceirge, you may want to check that your savannah view request is going to be honored.

Of course, the whole thing's a crap shoot, isn't it?

You're absolutely right, you can make a request for savanna or pool view, but there is no guarantee. It seems sort of goofy to me that you wouldn't be able to choose...it must have something to do with limited room availability.

I think the vast majority of the concierge rooms are savannah view. There are smoking rooms, they are all pool view.

Our room was on the balcony over the lobby, just a few steps from the lounge and a great savannah view...I think it was Sunset Savannah.

We did the Poly concierge about two months after the AKL, we liked the Poly, but when I stay concierge again, it will be AKL.
