We did AKL/WL split last year. Completely LOVED the AKL. I liked the WL, but I didn't care for their CL (in case you are considering concierge). Rumor has it that WL CL is going to have some changes in the future (maybe near future), but nothing official has been put out there yet. I would stay WL in a courtyard room in a NY minute. The WL lobby, restaurants, location is wonderful. I would consider a split trip between these two if you can't make your mind up. It was no big deal for us since they take care of luggage transfers. If you had to pick one resort to do concierge, I would do it AKL since you can participate in the safari's they have available to concierge guests. You can stay concierge a night or two concierge just to be able to participate to cut down on costs. They do give AP and other discounts on CL rooms.
