Concierge Question

Hi Everyone,
I had a question for all of you who have stayed Concierge Level. We are heading to the GF on 9/22 and staying in the SL at the GF. I just wanted to know what all I should expect from the services and experiences people have had. The person I spoke with today was not helpful at all (you can see my question in the transportation forum – I can’t seem to get help getting 2 car seats from the car service).

My parents and I have had a lot of stays on the Atrium Club Level at the Contemporary and they have always been amaizing. The Cast Members have always been great and they have always come threw when we have made requests like a half a grapefruit for my Mom when she has breakfast, because that is something we always request. Last month when we were there I was purchasing a day ticket because I was going to the Magic Kingdom with a friend of mine who lives in Orlando and instead of charging me the full price, this Cast Member got me an after 4:00 PM convention ticket which was half price and I was like are you serious because I had no idea they had them.

As you can see by my signature my parents and I are staying Club Level at the Polynesian this December and we hope that it will be just as good as the Atrium Club has been.

why do you need 2 car seats?

My boys are 3 and 9 months. We got a car the car service to take us to the airport. They are sending a town car with 1 car seat. My 3 year old is WAY too young to not have a car seat. I was hoping not to drag my car seat to FL with me. With the extra money we paid for the concierge and the car service I really thought that I could get 2 car seats or some help with the issue. I just want to deal with all the fun Mickey Planning!

I don't think your hotel concierge service can help you with your privately hired transportation service. Now if you were taking the Magical Express bus, you wouldn't get any car seats at all and would probably just old the children on your laps.

We stayed concierge (Main Bldg) at GF and found the concierge staff there to be less helpful than at the other concierge resorts we have used. Good luck.

Deb and Bill - thanks for the reply. I actually did not book a private car - when I called the main disney reservation number they took care of the town car for us. I don't even know what the name of the comany is. That is why I am not very happy that I can't get help.
