We're planning a trip in April. Anyone done the concierge at the Grand Californian and/or Paradise Pier? What are they like? Are they worth the extra cost? Thanks.

We just stayed on the concierge level at GC in November and thought it was definitely worth it!! The breakfast was perfect for us and just enough to get us going. We would sometimes grab an extra croissant for a midmorning snack and would definitely grab an extra drink. All of the food was very good and the staff was very accomodating. We asked for chocolate milk one morning and yogurt another, and they were able to get both for us. I was paying for DD and myself and I only spent about $20 a day on food & snacks in the parks. (Gotta have those Mickey bars!!) ;)

I myself didn't think it was worth it. Grant you I havent stayed there yet but it was just a tad over $1700.00 for concierge for 7 nights and I didn't think I could eat or drink enough that would justify that difference. :hyper:

Not in California. From all reports, conceirge service wasn't as extensive or as friendly as at WDW. There are so few restaurants and signature events in which you would really benefit from conceriege at DL.
