Concierge lounge wine selections?

I tried emailing shoreside but they weren’t really sure they said. Do they have skywalker wine at the concierge lounge on the wish?

If not, what kind of selection do they have? And what’s your favorite

The wine in the concierge lounge on the Magic in October was really not good. Like cheap, I wouldn't buy it and drink it at home, wine. Fantasy, we have had better luck, but not by much. But the cocktail cart on the Magic was AWESOME! They used to pour nice champagne on the Fantasy, but lately it's just been Chandon (which I really dislike) on both Fantasy and Magic. Hope things are better on the Dream this summer. I think you are better off getting mixed drinks - the liquor selection is much better than the wine.

I can tell you on the Dream (Don't know about the Wish) this past December they did not have Skywalker wine in the concierge lounge. There were a couple of ok wines, and several $10 bottle of wines available. The liquor offerings were much better with quite a few top shelf spirits.

With that said though, I had an amazing bottle of Skywalker Pinot Noir in Palo for dinner. I never had Skywalker before. Now I have a few bottles of Skywalker Pino Noir and a couple bottles of Skywalker Chardonnay in my wine fridge at home.

Back in 2018 we did a wine tasting on the Wonder. Well to our surprise it was a "guest" who ran the tasting, a sommelier from Skywalker Vineyards!! All Skywalker wines. Wow!!! Easily the best value we have ever had for a beverage tasting on any Disney cruise. We are in Canada, can't get it here so we usually splurge and buy a bottle of the Pinot Noir our first night.

I've never seen them serve Skywalker wines in the lounge. I yet to sail on the Wish, though. Usually we just end up ordering Skywalker wine in the dining room with dinner.

There was a printed wine list in the Wish concierge lounge in early December when we sailed. However, the wines that were actually available on the wine cart in the lounge during the 5-10pm offerings differed from what was on the list. I believe most of them were very common wines. For instance - I like Pinot Noir - and Kurt Russel's Gogi Pinot Noir was on the list, which made me excited since I really enjoy that one and cannot get it where I live. However, the only pinot noir on the cart was Meiomi, which I can get easily at home and is also not one of my favorites. I asked the beverage manager in the lounge and he was able to find some bottles of the Gogi on board. He requested a few bottles be sourced to the lounge - the other bottles were designated for the Rose outside of Enchante and Palo Steakhouse. It was amazing, and I was so grateful he went out of the way to find one of my favorites! Skywalker was not an option on the wine list. If it had been, that would have been my #1 in absence of the Gogi. We are members of the Skywalker Wine Club and so we get a few bottles of pinot noir and chardonnay annually from them. I'm going to bring one of my Skywalker Pinot Noirs on my next cruise in my luggage. I like it so much!

If you like mixed drinks, I highly recommend letting the bartenders on staff make you a surprise cocktail that they think you might like. Nearly every night, we needed to have a "Francisco Special" - he was such a fun bartender, and made us some amazing "off-menu" cocktails.

We had Dragos on the Dream. He was amazing!!! He was headed to the Wish, so seek him out. He would just ask my preferences and whip me something up. It was so fun and tasty. No Skywalker wines-but would I love to try them!

I know your post was back in 2023, but I checked onboard selections and they now have Skywalker to book beforehand. So if you cruise again you can order it.
