Just received our request form and they ask if you would like for them to arrange for Town car or Limo both from and to the airport.
Anyone ever done this and what are the rates they charge? Would it be better for me to make these arrangements so that I can choose better rates?
Can you put room request on this form or is it better to fax requests few days before you leave for your trip?
All help welcomed.:) :) :)

They use Mears, and Mears is more expensive than the others. THey are not allowed to book one of the others for you. Book that yourself.

I put the room request right on the form when I fax that back to them.

We just added limo pick up to our upcoming trip thru GF Concierge - the cost is $140.00 round trip - not bad (they use Mears). Sure beats taking the shuttle bus! I just find it so much easier to do it this way, less phone calls - and the cost is added to the package - one easy bill to pay! We always use Mears and we find the cars clean, the drivers are always there waiting for you and are very attentive, we never lift a bag!

Gonga--Is that a true stretch limo price, or a towncar price?

Anne

Its for a Town Car......but I was thinking of changing it to a stretch as a surprise. I find the prices at Mears are the same as they are here in NY, so I would think the stretch limo would be approx $60.00 or so more.

$140 for a towncar is OUTRAGEOUS! I'd gladly make the call on my own to book Yourride.net or Tiffany and save the $60!

LOL Anne... you can wear your "Bargain Hunter" tee-shirt while making that call.

I think $140 is an aweful lot for a towncar. We use Tiffany Towncar---It is $90 or less depending on the resort and there is a $5.00 off coupon on their website. They also do they supermarket stop on the way to the hotel.;)

I don't nickel and dime things to death, but to save $70 I'll make a phone call. I wouldn't bother for a few dollars though.

OOOPsssss, I just checked my invoice from WDW. The total cost round trip is $126.00 - sorry for the mis-information!

Thanks for all your input, I do want to save as much as possible on this trip so I think I will book my own town car. Has anyone ever used FL tours or Happy Limo(this is the one Mousesavers recommends)?
Now that the form has gotten here, I am getting really excited about our trip!:earsgirl:

We used Tiffany on our past 2 trips and on 2/20 they brought a stretch to pick us up instead of a towncar at no extra charge. We still got to use the drinks and stuff even though the driver only had the limo because his next pickup had ordered one. Anyway, our driver was different than the one who picked us up so we asked where he was and he said that Tiffany is merging with Cartier and while the old driver was Tiffany, this driver was Cartier. He also tld us Cartier is on average $10-$15 cheaper than Tiffany and other companies. Haven't looked into this yet, but it might be worth a phone call. Also, if you have a Passporter, they have a Tiffany coupon for $8 off a roundtrip.
