We are going on our first cruise in a few weeks and just checked in on-line. Because we are concierge, we didn't pick a check-in time. But I can't figure out what time we can start checking in. It's a 3-day cruise on the Dream out of Port Canaveral. Can anyone help please? Thanks!

Since you are concierge, you should be able to arrive at any time and check in. Embarkation time will depend on clearance of the previous cruise and preparation for the new cruise. It is normally around 11:30-11:45.

Thanks! What time would you suggest that we arrive for check-in, so that we have enough time to get that done but aren't sitting around too long before we can board?

That's entirely up to you. They don't actually start letting people in until close to 11. Concierge used to have their own check in line, not sure if they still do but I assume so. Check in takes less that 10 minutes once you get to the counter as long as you have all your ducks in a row. Then concierge has their own little waiting area, away from the rest of the passengers.

Yes concierge has their own check in desk at the back of the Port.

We always try to arrive by 10:30 at the latest.
we do this too as we like to get on the ship early, get any itinerary adjustments made while we enjoy the concierge lounge for a bit..................then drop our luggage in our room and head to lunch.

On the short trips, we like to get on the boat and start enjoying it.

I think I would get there at 10:30 and then you'll likely be with the first ones to board at 11:00am but I don't think you can enter your room at 1:30pm (might be different where they allow conceirge to enter earlier? IDK) so if this makes a difference then maybe arrive later, but we like to go early and enjoy the ship

the last few times we have been concierge on the Dream, the room was always ready when we boarded. This is awesome as we dont have to carry around anything while we cruise the ship and eat lunch. Also, it allows us to get our DD down for her nap at 1.

Good luck

To top if off, if you room is not ready you can leave you baggage in the lounge and they bring it to your room when it is ready. That was on the Dream and Fantasy. Honestly I never have don't that because I'm a bit too paranoid.
