Those who have used the concierge collection, are the rooms you stay at just as good as Disney? Were you treated different in anyway versus other hotel stays?

We've used the Concierge Collection twice - once at the Whitehall in Chicago and at the Royal Garden in London in July for my daughter's honeymoon after she married a young man from Ft. Wayne! My daughter and her husband just raved about their 2-night stay in London, about the space, the view, and the way they were treated. We were also treated nicely at the Whitehall - clean, first class room, but it is a hotel room, not a 1 bedroom w/ a full kitchen. Actually, since our daughters are grown, we will probably use the Collection more and DVC resorts less, but, you sure don't get as much bang for your points w/ the Collection.

We have used it twice also. Tanque Verde Ranch in Tucson (all inclusive) and Grove Park Inn in Ashville. Both were excellent. The TVR stay was one of our best of all time stays. I think Disney is quite careful about who is in the collection.

We used the Concierge Collection for our stay at the La Quinta Resort and Spa in La Quinta CA. Beautiful resort. Loved it so much, we went back for a second trip. Our room was a one bedroom spanish style villa only 10 ft. from the pool & hot tub. We felt it was well worth our DVC points.
