Any thoughts on when we might see the Embarc (formerly Club Intrawest) properties returned to the Concierge Collection?

We took the Embarc tour recently and were told that the Embarc>Disney side is already restored but at a broader level. Rather than Embarc<>DVC is it presently Embarc>Disney so that Embarc owners may use their points to reserve Disney Hotels, Disney Cruises, DVC, ABD and Disney Theme Park Tickets. If so, I'd expect less availability going DVC>Embarc units.

Still ... I'm hoping to see the Embarc properties return to our Concierge Collection options.

Not sure if they ever will. Embarq (fka Club Intrawest) is owned by Diamond Resorts. They are a hard core sales operation. Be suspicious of anything that they tell you.

FWIW, the sales presentation was a softball pitch. Really easy, informative, no pressure. We thoroughly enjoyed our Sandestin vacation and hope to return someday! Seems DVC's Concierge Collection might be easier to book than going through Interval International against other timeshare, as we did for the current trip.

I like Sandestin- also liked Seaside down the road, very nice.
Something is coming with exchanges, Ken P said as much in an industry publication about 6 months ago 'Exciting new opportunities' was the words used i think (or similar), but nothing happened yet.

Our only off-property outing was to visit Seaside and Watercolor. FWIW, between the two locations, I preferred Watercolor ... and was surprised by the wave of relief that flooded over me as we re-enter the gates at Sandestin. So, overall, Sandestin won: large spaces, lovely landscaping, limited crowds (except beachside, of course, July 3rd and 4th) and lots of walking/biking trails. Loved it!
