Over the weekend we switched our August trip from GF SL to WL. I emailed the WL IPO yesterday, because there we were all set with the GF and I felt like I had to start from square one. Krystal from the WL IPO emailed me back just a few hours later and took care of everything. I feel so much better. They are helping me with ordering the cake(s) for my celebration as well. I'm a happy girl today:goodvibes

Don't you love getting that big "howdy" from the WL IPO? Don't forget to ask about the milk the GF IPO was going to store in your fridge for you.

I forgot about the milk:eek: Remembered the Coke Zero:rotfl: I requested yellow cake, chocolate icing one with Snow white, the other Ariel. So we'll see what they come up with. I will definitiely keep you updated, plus I think I want one of those castle cakes for my birthday/anniversary. :lovestruc Now I'm debating if I should book a fishing excursion for DH and DS or not. Sounds like we have plenty to do already.
 
I am reading about the posts about the wonderful service everyone is getting from IPO and I'm very confused and very worried about our upcoming trip. We are doing a split stay 3 nights Pop and 4 nights BC CL. I can't get anywhere with BC IPO. I haev sent several emails dated 4/22-4/28 I can't get a response. I finally called IPO last week and was told yes, they had my emails and I should be called by a supervisor in 1-2 days. I still haven't heard from anyone. I had to keep after IPO to send the "form" to fill out. Then faxed the form back asking for 2 ADRs which had no availability. I asked for caffeine free diet soda as due to a medical reason I can have either. I was told they could send a "runner" to the store so I could purchase. Then when I called I was told I would have to order it through private dining. I was also told "no they won't help me with ordering a cake" I am wondering why I booked CL at this point.:confused3 I just called to see if there is availability at another resort (booked with a PIN so I doubt it) but the system is down.:sad1:

I'm kind of feeling like you are. We booked our trip fairly quickly, so I booked my ADR's (I actually booked them before we opted to upgrade to CL). I never got a "form". The only thing I asked them to book was BBB-and I gave them 3 different days, and said any time on those days, and either location. They emailed back and said neither location had any availability at any time on my days...I called WDW myself, and had plenty of choices, so that was a little frustrating. We'll see how it goes when we get there, but it certainly wasn't cheap to upgrade!! I hope we're not disappointed!
 
I'm starting to feel better about my contact with BWI IPO. Our trip is at the end of July. I had not heard anything as of last week, so I sent an email just letting them know who is in our room and that we have no special requests. I also let them know that we plan on checking in that morning. The response I got was like "OK, that's nice. Why did you even contact us?" I was surprised, after reading here, that I had to make first contact 90 days out.

I just called to try to change to a different resort. Nothing is available but the CM pit me through to IPO. I spoke w/ Anne. She said she doesn't know why no one would get back with me but she is taking care of everything. I feel alot better now. Call IPO 407-934-1448 and ask for Anne if you have any other needs. I hope Sarah has a wonderful birthday! It looks like you will be there about the same time as we are.
 
We are doing a split stay from Poly to BC. This will be our first time cl at BC and we have had great interaction with Annie as well. In fact, I just got an email from her today letting me know not to worry. Sounds like we might over lap with some people on here too.... May 11-14. Here's to a great time at BC cl to everyone going! :cheer2::cheer2:

Have stayed CL at the Poly twice - vowed last year never to do it again - both the Poly & CL.

I'm so sorry you had so many issues. Just shouldn't have happened. No excuse for not getting back to you.

We've stayed CL many times in the past 20 years. The service and offerings have definitely gone downhill. When we first started staying CL the service was outstanding (the website years ago even stated they'd sew on a button for you! :goodvibes) but now I'm reading that they won't even take care of ordering a cake or providing diet caffeine free soda ... ridiculous.

We were at Poly a couple years ago; requested diet caffeine free coke through IPO prior to our arrival and while it wasn't put in my room, it was always available when I asked. (although I don't know why they don't just stock the fridge with it like AKL does as it did get tiresome to always have to find someone to ask for it. )

Anyways, I'd need more than a 40% off code before I'd book CL again. I'd miss the special check-in but just no longer worth it to me.

I hope all goes well - have a wonderful trip.

Does IPO give you a print out of you adrs when you arrive? Poly IPO made adrs for us but we changed the times for a few of them. Do you notify IPO of the changes you have made to your itinerary/dining reservations?

Yes, they told me that if I changed anything I would have to let them know because otherwise they would have the old information. I added 2 ADR's on my own (because I completely changed things around) and I sent them an email letting them know, and also gave them the confirmation numbers. HTH! :goodvibes

Thank you! I finally got through to a different IPO CM and I think it will be okay now (crossing fingers) :thumbsup2

The CM from customer service put me through to Anne @ BC IPO. She couldn't explain why I didn't receive a respnse but apologized and said they will deliver Sprite Zero to our room. I wish I had been able to speak with Ann from the beginning. I now feel better about our trip. Thanks so much for your response! :flower3:
