We have two more nights left at CL at WL. We have had amazing service and have each enjoyed the food offerings each day. Just wanted to see if anyone had questions that I might be able to answer or check for you.

Thanks for checking in with us! :thumbsup2 If you get the chance, some pictures of the lounge would be nice. :flower3: After you're back home, would you please post a review of your WL CL experience here? Any info on your room, the food & beverage offerings in the Lounge (plus pictures ;)) would be appreciated. :worship:

Thanks and enjoy the rest of your time at WDW! :cloud9: Safe travels home.

I think that's why it made me so sad that the Tea Cups would be closed. This may be our last trip for awhile, and I was already sad about It's a Small World being closed. DH was determined to make sure I get to ride at least one of my two favorite Fantasyland rides while we are there, no matter what, and buying a couple of tickets to MNSSHP were cheaper than changing our flights to Friday night and spending one more night at AKL.

I hope you have a magical vacation! We check into the Poly on 9/29 after 4 nights at AKL. WE love the Poly!

It's our first time at the Poly.

I can't imagine changing rooms halfway through our stay. You are brave! Then again, we have 5 kids and 3 with health issues so they come with a lot of equipment.

I added the dxdp to my May 10 trip, and I'm also doing it again for my November 11 trip. I enjoy dining at Disney, particularly at the signature restaurants in the evening, I'm a type 1 diabetic so have to eat 3 meals a day (and an evening snack) so for breakfast I would eat a muffin in the lounge (gluten free as I'm celiac as well),:goodvibes

Do they have gluten free muffins available? Did you ask for them beforehand? What else did you find gluten-free?

It's our first time doing a split stay. Since it's DH's birthday trip, that's what he really wanted. Part of it was that he couldn't imagine going an entire trip without staying at the Poly, but we really wanted to try AKL. Be warned, the Poly can be very addicting! :rolleyes1

I was very nervous, but since we are staying CL at both AKL and the Poly, they are making it very easy for us. Of course, it's just DH and I. If we had children, we probably would not do a split stay. We'll see how it goes!

TxMickeyLover: I'm so not telling my dh how addicting the Poly is. I figure the next time we'll go, it will have been 4 years (I've vowed not to be pg or have one in diapers so I can have a good time!) so he won't remember how much it cost.

I just let the IPO know I'm gluten free and request some gluten free muffins, and each morning they would appear especially for me :) The best gluten free muffins were from the Boardwalk Bakery when I stayed at the BWI, they were delicious, I've also had them at the GF and YC, still very nice but not as yum as the BWI.

I tend to just have cheese/veggies so don't have any of the hot appetisers, I've never asked for anything special evening appetiser wise but I would guess they'd do something?

In my trip reports of the Contemporary and Boardwalk I mentioned how Paul from the Atrium Club and JJ of the Innkeeper's Club went above and beyond for my family, so we e-mailed WDW to let them know how great they are as Cast Members.

Hello,

Just wondering does the Beach Club - Club Level Lounge face Crescent lake or the Villas/Entrance? We just switched our reservation in January to BC CL Lagoon View :cool1: and are now gobbling up any info we can get on the lounge and other amenities.

Thanks in advance!

For a room request at a DVC concierge level room (AKV 1BR) do we request it thru
the Concierge email address, thru MS by phone or online check in???

Thanks

You can either send AKL IPO an email or call MS and ask them to note your request; either way will work! :thumbsup2

When you do online check-in, you can not add room requests. (There is a section for "requests" but it doesn't have anything to do with room location.)

The lounge at the Beach Club faces the parking lot and the villas. There is a large balcony out there, but I didn't see anyone sitting out there, possibly because of the view. :confused3 The YC lounge is facing the parking lot, too. I guess that leaves more room for lagoon-view rooms on the club-level floors.

Ok - that is what we thought from viewing pictures. Thank-you! :)

We will be staying in a tower - theme park view room - Atrium club level.

My TA told me that with the new discounts that just came out we could get a Bay Lake View - Atrium Club level room at the 40% discount.

My mother said absolutely not, we are keeping the TP view. She had that view last April. Gosh - I could do a lot with an extra $200+ per day. Is the TP view THAT good? It must be.

The Theme Park View on the Atrium Club floor is no different then on any of the regular Tower floors. Plus if you were to take the Atrium Club - Bay Lake View you can always see the Magic Kingdom from the lounge and save the $200, however either way I am sure you will have a great time and can't make a bad decision.

I agree. No bad decisions- just pure vacation bliss! Really looking forward to it!

Here is a picture of the Atrium Club - Bay Lake View that I took earlier this month which is from room #4808 incase you haven't seen what the view would look like.

Who is going? I would have a hard time paying $200/night for the view but would more likely pay for it if there were small children going. If it were all adults I would just go to the CL lounge to watch the fireworks/enjoy the view from the balcony there. The view from the Bay Lake side is beautiful too.

I have only been to CR CL once in Dec 2006 but found the CL service there to be VERY good!:thumbsup2

CR also has cabanas you can rent at the pool that look really nice!

thanks:cool1:, I guess when I say It does not have that Disney feel, I guess I look at the modren feel to CR, and I can not relate It to that Disney feel:confused3, it could just be my thing. I also compare the theming to POP wich Is really unfair, totatl two diffrent typs of resorts. I wish they could(ok my secret desire) apply the POP theming to all WDW resorts:rotfl2: lol, like I said my secret desire:goodvibes. I do love the monirail coming through the resort, and the awsome views onto the laggon.

Hi All
I originally booked Poly Club through WDW but got a better deal w/ Expedia. I don't have a confirmation number from Expedia and am wondering how I can access the IPO services w/out it. I still haven't canceled the WDW ressies (really need to do that) and used that number to book the Candlelight Proc. Anybody have experience with this or know what I should do?
Thanks

I did the same thing. I had a WDTC/CRO reservation for Christmas and saw the great Expedia deal on Mousesavers. I booked the Expedia promo. and canceled my WDTC reservation. This is the first time I have ever not booked through the WDTC, so I was a bit nervous.

About one week or less after I booked through Expedia, an additional confirmation number appeared on my online Expedia confirmation. This is the actual WDTC confirmation that you can use. Check today and see if it's there. It will probably begin with the number 4 and will be called "hotel confirmation number." You can link to your itinerary via the Expedia confirmation e-mail you received.
