I'm very close to pulling the trigger on our first DVC purchase and one huge consideration is the possibility of using our points towards Polynesian Resort rooms. Having smaller children, the easy/convenient mid-day pitstop at the room via a convenient, stroller-friendly monorail is much preferred for the next four or so years.
I've read that others have used DVC points to stay at the deluxe resorts like the Poly and I want to know the skinny on this.
Can this be done? And if so, is there any catch to it? Where are the point values published so one can decide on this option and numerous others falling under the "concierge" listing (e.g., we would definitely take advantage of a Sagamore, Lake George, NY stay one of the years, but how many pts does this take??).
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

In 2002, DD was born in May. We went that summer and stayed at OKW. She's now almost 6 (hard to believe!). Since her first visit, we have stayed at BWV, OKW, SSR, All Star Sports, Movies and Music. Hopping a bus hasn't been a big deal at all. I thought it might be, but it really wasn't. We either rented a stroller (which we still do if we're planning on being in a park all day) or took an umbrella stroller of our own, and it was a non-issue. Trips are quick and the you can catch a bus about every 10 minutes.
With a baby, it's wonderful!!! There's a washer and dryer in the room, a full kitchen and a master bedroom that's totally separate from the main living space. It's great to be able to take the baby back to the master for a nap and still have a living space for the adults and/or older kids!
