Does anyone know the email address for the GF concierge? I have ressies there and my 120 day PS start tomorrow and I have not heard from a CM yet. Any words of wisdom would be appreciated, but that email address would be great.
Thanks

Hi disneydill! Welcome to the boards. :D

I don't know the answer to your question --- but someone will.

You will love the GF!! Stayed there last Sept. (actually this very week a year ago) and thought it was great!! We enjoyed our PS. I'm sure you will too.

Good luck and have a ball! :bounce: :bounce:

I can give you the name and email address of the person at GF who has helped me: Karen P. Mages is her name and her address is "Mages, Karen P" <Karen.P.Mages@disney.com>. She made all my PS for GF. Hope this helps!

Disneydill,

We stayed at GF this past July. I was panic stricken when I didn't hear from them at the 60 day mark. I thought for sure, I would never get Cindy reservations now. I went ahead and called them directly (407-824-1775) and spoke to James. He calmed me right down and explained that certain tables are blocked just for concierge booking. He was able to confirm all my requests and we had terrific seats at each restaurant.

I'd recommend giving them a call or faxing them with your itinerary if you already know what you want. The fax number is 407-824-3461.

Have a wonderful trip.

Thanks for the info, everyone!
I will start on those communications today!

We've never done concierge, so I'm a little nervous. I know the trip will be great - it always is.

:) Thanks again

We've done both main building and lodge concierge at the GF, so if you have any more questions, please feel free to ask me.

Dont worry about about PS. We just got back about two weeks ago. We setup all our own PS without conceirge except for one. We tried to get breakfast at Cindy's and just couldnt get it. But I called them the week before we left and sure enough they got us a table.

They'll come through dont worry.

Thanks for your replies!

I just took a "tour" through the GF FAQ post, which has the GF Concierge email listed, I might give it a try. I don't want to bug them before we even get there!

We are staying in Sugar Loaf. We are planning on eating breakfast in the lounge.
Does anybody know the latest on the food offerings for SL? It would help me in my planning. (we have two kids - 4 and 7, just so you know what kind of stuff we might be interested in!)

I requested a Marina view room. Are there any that give you any view of the monorail or the MK fireworks?

You guys are great!

They had a few cold cereal selections, bagels, muffins, toast, yogurt and fruit. The lunch time offerings are normally a taco salad or green salad with tuna, assorted hummus. Unfortunately, this resort is not one that offers kid friendly themed food. The afternoon tea consists of warm scones, brownies, cupcakes and trifle. Early evening usually offered something like mini hot dogs, sliced chicken breast stuffed with a spicy filling, assorted cheese and crackers, brownies, cookies and cupcakes. The lodge does not serve wine with their early evening selections and there are no desserts and cordials served in the late evening. These are only available if you're staying in the main building concierge. Lemonade, iced tea, coffee and hot water were available throughout the day. They don't keep out soda or juice boxes, but you can ask the concierge staff and they'll be happy to get them for you. I think the 4 and 7 year old will get the most out of breakfast and then maybe a snack and cold drink during the rest of the time.

We had a marina view room and we could see the monorail as well as the fireworks, but the position of the building doesn't really allow for a view of the castle.

As for your priority seating, I would recommend going through concierge if you can. I noticed that when the hostess brought up our reservation on her screen, we were noted as VIP's. I think this was the reason why we always had the best tables and no waiting.

Just wanted to let you know that I did email the Concierge folks at GF and they replied with a very gracious email.

They said they would take care of everything and not to worry!

Thanks for your help!

Glad it worked out!

Let us know how your trip went! :D

Hope you have a fantastic time! :bounce: :Pinkbounc
