OK, because we are gettiing what I think is a fairly good rate for an upgrade to concierge at GC, can anyone tell me more about it? Is it worth it? What kind of food/drinks do they serve? Any tips/info that we should know? It will be costing approximately $80 more per night for the 5 of us. Bottled H20 alone for 5 is 8 bucks in the park (or so I've heard)

I think eighty bucks extra is fair, especially for five. Five who can have a "free" continental breakfast, a little eveming wine and snacks, a bed time story and hot cocoa...eighty extra is worth it. Their deck has a nice vantage point for the fireworks. (They also have a DVD checout library)

thank you, year2late. I was hoping we were'nt paying too much. I feel better now. We are going mid-Junewhen I suspect the prices could be a little higher than other times of the year. Does anyone know if AP holders can get a better rate? I am willing to fork over the extra $$ 's if an AP would help. Any tips will be greatly appreciated.:earsgirl:

Try to secure the AP rate now. If you get a good rate. Cool. That solves it.

Frankly. I would always suggest one member of the party (assuming they are going to be there 3 days or more) get an AP. I have found the discounts in and out of the park to be outstanding. I think our party made up the difference on the pass at blue bayou alone! I believe the discount is 10% throughout the park with the exception of the kiosk style places o=if you have a premium AP.

Also, if you do not get AP's, consider getting your park passes from AAA - they have a Passport Plus that allows "unlimited" fastpasses.
