I am wondering if the extra cost ends up "breaking even" on the food issue. Someone said at the Polynesian, there was "dinner" in the lounge. I got the impression of the phone with reservations that it was wine and cheese, milk and cookies, maybe some chips and salsa too. Are there enough "appetizers" that we would feel like it was "a meal?" Just trying to see if the $111 price difference per night would be a waste of money or more than pay for iself by not eating in restaraunts. Thanks.

There is an evening wine/cheese/light appetizer service at the concierge lounge at the DL Hotel. It's very nice but not enough to eat as a replacement for dinner.

At the Polynesian the evening appetizer service includes a variety of hot appetizers that you really could fill up on for a light dinner if you wanted to.

Hope that helps! :)

That's exactly what I needed! Thanks.

They do have a breakfast though. The bottled water and the soda almost pay for it self. My wife and I went with our 2 yr old DD Last Sept. It was wonderful with her because she ate fruit, cheese and got all the mild she every needed there. We never really had to buy her a meal while we where there, but for us we did.
