Got the fun tracker this weekend. Looks like some good concerts coming up this spring at BG and SW.

For example for Real Music Series at BG----

Paul Revere, Herman's Hermits,5th Dimension, Osmond Brothers, Tony Orlando, Charpo, Tommy dorsey Band, the Ventures, and Debbie Reynolds.

Bands Brew and BBQ---

SW---
Huey Lewis, Willie Nelson, REO Speedwagon, Josh Turner
BG
Blondie,Joan Jett, The Commodores, and Travis Tritt and Charlie Daniels Band

Viva La Musica----
SW----
Chinoy Nacho, Manny Manuel,Jerry Rivera, Ednita Nazario

BG--

Elvis Crespo, Jose Alberto, Angel Y Khris and Ismael Miranda

Check the parks website for dates. Remember that all concerts are included in regular admission. There are special deals on food during the series, too.

In April Jack Hanna will be in the parks. We loved seeing him and all the anilmals when we went to his show. Silver, Gold, and Platinum pass holders usually get a meet and greet before the show.

BG is also having a Ramp Jam in April so any skate boarders/BMX riders out there might want to check those weekends out.

Did you receive a brochure or a calendar,I'm asking because we used to receive quarterly calendars with all the events going on during the next couple of months and around April or May last year just stopped receiving them, they'll still send a brochure but I liked the calendar.I've been going to Bands Brew and BBQ the last couple of years,I had already seen the acts playing at the parks about 2 weeks ago,I think I'm going to go see Hermans Hermits on Friday at Busch and for B,B&BBQ REO Speedwagon at SW on Saturday and the Commodores with the Pointer Sisters at Busch on Sunday.

The calendar came this weekend. You might need to update your info on the pass holder area. Haven't decided who we will go see yet. Harder for us to get to BG because of the 3 hour drive from the East coast and my husband is too cheap<just Kiddin"> to stay all night over there.

REO Speedwagon played outdoor concerts while they/we were in college so saw them often back in the early 70s in Illinois. Hopefully get to go when they are at SW. Not sure how many originals are still in the band. 1 maybe?

What time are the concerts in the Real Music Series? Never made it to BG for one of those. Is it possible to see the concert at SW on Saturday, catch the real music concert that niight and stay for BBBQ on Sunday?

Wondering also if we drovwee to Orlando, picked up the free bus ride for the last 1 1/2 hour drive does the bus stay till after the concerts before heading back to Orlando. Getting old is no fun when it comes to driving 6 hour round trip and having fun in the parks for 8 hours or so. LOL

It's weird I was getting the calendar every 4 months and all of a sudden they stopped coming and I never moved so my info is the same as it's always been,I'm going to go update my info just in case.As far as the Real Music concerts they usually have like 3 sets throughout the day which are about an hour long, longer than the Epcot concerts. Some concerts can fill up and some may only fill 3/4 of the theater, either way they give these reservation tickets out at the front of the park in the morning and outside the theater for you to reserve a seat,so for example you can grab a 12:30 ticket for Hermans Hermits, although they allow you to get them for multiple showtimes.I don't know much about the bus to Busch Gardens but I can tell you admission is separate for both parks, the BBQ events aren't linked it's simply included with admission to the parks. The actual BBQ is different in both parks,at Sea World they have an all you can eat buffet with basically everything
BBQ you could want, passholders get a discount so the buffet comes out to $13-$14.At Busch they have like booths from different BBQ regions in the US,Memphis,N.C etc..The concerts are usually around 4pm or so after everyone's had time to eat.I agree with you on the drive,I'm about 4 hours away from both parks and I used to actually do one day trips about maybe 5-6 years ago,now we have to do at least a two day trip, finding a room in Orlando for $40 is not usually too hard and the truth is safety wise doing a 4 hour drive tired is not smart.

At Sw they also have booths along the sidewalk to the stadium where you can purchase BBQ separately, too. We usually don't do the all you can eat meal and opt for a BBQ sandwich-especially if we go to 3 or 4 of the concerts.
We have 2 year 2 park passes so admission is covered for both parks for us all the time. We usually just make it across the state 1 or 2 times a year, but hit SW more often- even as just a meeting place with our son who lives in Orlando area and works at Disney.
