Hi. Long time lurker here, but now I do have a question. Recently I purchased a Canon Digital Rebel XT for my wife, so she now believes she has every right to overshoot. We have over a gig of media cards, but at some point we will need to dump the pictures onto a disk.

I have read in past posts that there are two places in the parks to do this, but as I recall it is expensive and limited to a certain amount of pictures per disk.

My question is, is there a Wallgreens or Wallmart or any other similar film proccessing place near Downtown Disney that one can take media to get images burnt onto a CD? We won't have a car, so I assume this would be a launching point to find such a place...

BTW, on a personal note, I want to thank everyone on this board for thier insight and maturity. This will be my second time going to WDW, and the tips and hints I've taken from this board have helped my wife and I greatly. :wave2:

There is a Walgreens near Downtown Disney but it's not within walking distance.

Do you have a laptop you can take with you? That's one way of downloading the pics off your memory card.

The other option is to get a portable storage unit. www.mydigitaldiscount.com has plenty of options on that end. If you go to dpreview.com's storage forum, you can see the ones that people recommend getting.

I personally would go with a PSU. It's not that expensive and you won't need a computer, or Walgreens or even burning it to CDs. A lot of people on dpreview have been getting Vosonic's line or the Epson P2000. What's great is that these PSUs can accept a variety of memory cards and even microdrives.

Price of memory is dropping so fast, why not buy more? 1GB compact flash can be had for under $50 on the internet. Check around.

I would suggest buying more cards also. If you aren't going to have a car it would be more expensive to take a taxi to Walgreens.
