My mother has diabetes and I've always been worried that I would get it as well. For the past few months I have been feeling weird so I've been testing my blood sugar frequently, and it's mostly been ~100. Sometimes, though, it goes below 70; it was once 68 two hours after I ate a high-carb meal. This is hypoglycemia, right? It's not caused by any of the medications I take, so I'm worried that this is a sign of the onset of diabetes? Or am I just being a hypochondriac? :lmao: I have an appointment with my physician next week just to make sure.

68 is not hypoglycemia. Sounds like you're perfectly fine. :)

I am happy to read that you plan to see a doctor. :thumbsup2

If you are worried about it, and your mother has it, then it is a good idea to have it checked out. There is no harm in having something thoroughly checked out. Diabetes is something that often sneaks up on people.
