Computers in Internet Cafe

I hope someone can help me with this question.
On the cruise ships in the internet cafes, does anyone know if the computers can correctly display double byte characters, such as written in Japanese or Chinese ? I would really like to be able to forward and check e-mail on the ship, but do to my business, the majority of e-mail comes in written in Japanese thus I need to be able to read the Japnese characters.

You're talking about the extended language support, right?

I visit some sites that have japanese content, and unless they've updated the system, I'd have to say probably not.

Thanks MarkRG... that is exactly what I am talking about. Without it I will be floating free and without hassle for a week... I gues that is a good thing.. no one to bother me
