Computers at CBR?

We are staying at CBR from September 22-30. The website for the resort says that all rooms have free wireless Internet, but does anyone know if the hotel has a computer center I can use? I am currently in some online classes that I will need to access while I am there and I don't have a laptop. Thought I would ask here before calling the hotel....

Also, I heard rooms are designated at check-in time. Anyone have suggestions for getting a room close to Port Royale? I have two small kids (3 & 4) and don't want to have to worry about making a long hike to dinner/main pool. Can I call in advance and request this?

We've been to CBR twice... I don't believe there is any type of "computer center" or "business center" there... You might want to post this question on the CBR FAQ thread -- either way, look for a reply from Safetymom -- she's the CBR expert!

As for your room location, preferred rooms are located close to OPR but you pay an additional charge for them. They are the following buildings: Martinique 24, 25, and 26, and Trinidad North 31, 32, and 33. If you pay for the preferred location, you WILL be in one of these 6 buildings. If you don't, your chances of being in them isn't real good.

On the other hand, Jamaica and Aruba are right across the lake, and you can get to OPR via a bridge... not a long walk. You can have the request for those villages added to your reservation, but it's just a request -- not a guarantee.

Are you sure it isn't CSR? CBR does have internet access, but it is neither free nor wireless. You pay $9.95 for 24hrs and connect via an ethernet in your room.

I didn't see any computers for guest use anywhere on site. CSR is set up for conventions, you might double check your source.

We didn't reserve Prefferred or make any room requests and we got 1st floor Martinique #22, short walk to Port Royale, next to the quiet pool and we could see the bus stop and approaching buses for just outside our door, excellent location.

There is a separate kiddie pool behind the main pool that should be great for your family. Also I found the food court there really easy to use with a nice selection.

No Disney resort offers free wireless. http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/Resorts/wireless.htm This link explains how the internet works at WDW. The convention hotels do have a computer center where you can use their computers. The charge is $10 for 15 mins.

Sorry for the confusion...I reread the website and it says "high-speed Internet access," not "free" or "wireless." Oh well. Guess I'll try to get my schoolwork done in advance because $10 for 15 minutes is pricy and who wants to do schoolwork at Disney anyway?
