Computer techies - I need help

I use Yahoo! as my email provider. I can receive all sorts of great emails with photos attached. But, when I try to forward them, the email from me just shows large blocks with small "x"s in the place where the picture should be. What gives? Anyway to fix this? It is most annoying.
