When I press the 'start' button on the lower part of my computer screen, there is a list of options: Programs, Documents, Settings, Search, Help, etc. On top of this list there are some sites that I have recently visited - Does anyone know how I can delete those? This site is on there and I would rather my boss not see it!

Thank You!

If you're talking about the list directly above the Start button, you can just "right click" on it and then click "unpin from start menu" or "remove from list".

But the system still keeps track of where you visited. You'll need to clear your history when your done using that PC. On your "desktop" find the "Internet Explorer" ICON and right click on it and click "Internet Properties". On that screen you will see the button to "clear history". If it's not there, it should be in the list above the "Start" button. Right click on it and click "Internet Properties".

I hate to break the news-but if your company uses a fire wall or anykind of monitoring deleting it from you computer will not keep your boss from knowing you were on this site. The firewall or monitoring software keeps logs of all the IP addresses of every computer in its domain and what IP addresses are visited by those computers-If you should not be visiting this site at work-then stop -your employer knows where you go even if you think your hiding it. Some monitoring equipment even logs the texts of IMs if you use them at work.
