I had just called MS to book our final two days and MS said their computers are down and they don't know when they will be back up and running. This is not the day to have computer problems.
I'm waiting to book my last 2 days too! I guess that week before Christmas is going to be busy! I'm glad they are not taking reservations today. At least it makes it fair to everyone. But I'll feel better when my trip is booked.
All of Disney's computer reservation systems are down due to the virus threat. It's certainly nothing that they have control over, and I think it's commendable when they take pre-emptive action.
Let's hope that they're up and running, and virus free, soon.
Considering that the fix for the software issue that the worm is exploiting has been available for 6 months, I would hardly call the current situation taking pre-emptive action. More like incompetance in action.
Who the heck needs terrorists when we can wreak havoc by ourselves.
Exactly! There were plenty of things companies could do so they wouldn't fall victim to this worm. You would think a company like Disney would know better.
Cruise line ressie/booking site and the Disney world booking site on the Disney.com page is offline as well. Message on the site says they are down for upgrades.
This happened once last year when we were making our New Year's reservations. Does anyone else remember that? They did the same thing and closed off all reservations until the next day.
