computer printer ink?

I am looking to buy black ink for an epson cx6600 printer.

I found a low price on a "compatible" non brand name ink from inkoutlets.com and am wondering if this will be the same quality as buying the actual epson product- the epson T043120. I don't want to waste my money on a cheap product or do any damage to my printer.

Anybody ever buy ink from this website?

I purchased ink for my Epson printer from a different company that offered compatible ink cartridges. It ruined my printer. After I ruined my printer Consumer Reports reviewed "compatible" cartridges and found they caused problems with many printers. I know it is a huge savings, just beware. Using these also will cancel your Epson warranty if you have one.

i always use replacement cartridges for my cannon - usually get them for $1 or less in Black and around $2 for color. Never had a problem at all, printer is going on 4 years old now.

YES, people do have problems, so its a big YMMV.

That's good to know. I would rather spend a few extra dollars on an epson cartridge than run the potential of having any problems. My printer is fairly new and I can't afford to replace it. I can afford to buy the proper ink though.

I'll stick to the real thing rather than risking damage.

I thought I bought a replacement cartidge from myinks.com... and it ended up being one of those ink replacement kits...
just beware what you buy and from where!
